Crazy 8’s Racing was founded in 2000 by Tommy Douglas and Tiffany Spain of Houston, Texas.
Tommy and Tiffany had been racing at many racetracks in Texas, including Houston International Raceway (circa1980) Houston Raceway Park, The Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, Angleton Raceway, Lonestar Raceway, Houston Motorsports Park, Lonestar Motorsports Park, Prarie Hill, and Temple Academy Raceway also known as Little River Raceway.

Along with drag racing, Crazy 8’s has also been involved in Autocross events at the Houston Police Academy and Gulf Greyhound Park.

Crazy 8’s was started in an effort to make the streets of Texas a safer place, by reaching out to the kids on the street and bringing them to the dragstrips to compete in our monthly Car Club Races.
One of the main attractions of this type of racing is the fact that an “expensive Race Car” is not required to win.

Most of Crazy 8’s racers drive Lincoln Mark VIII’s but due to the open nature and general goal of Crazy 8’s owning a Mark VIII is not a requirement. We WELCOME ALL RACERS.

Crazy 8’s is an equal opportunity race team, Men, Women, Fords, Chevy’s, etc..EVERYONE is welcome and everyone can WIN!
